The Evil World of the Romance Scam Artist

Romance Scams and the Scam Artists who perpetrate them are like no other criminal in the world. They never come into the open and they never get their picture taken. You will never see their pictures on "Wanted" posters in post offices. Even the various law enforcement authorities in the world could pass these Romance Scam Artists on the street and never know who they are. These days, however, Western law enforcement does know the prolific nature of their crimes. When the scams artists are successful, they get their victims to empty their bank accounts and commit felony crimes on their behalf. When law enforcement officials come to call on the victim, the victim is emotionally drained and devastated, confused, humiliated, and ashamed. While the scam artist eludes the reach of local law enforcement, the victim is left to pay for the crimes of the scam artist.

			This crime wreaks havoc not only with our finances, but with our emotions--with our very soul. It's one of the most insidious and emotionally devastating of crimes, because it deals with the cherished dreams that we all have embedded in our hearts.
